Performance & Towing
The new Jeep Wrangler exerts the power you have come to expect from the vehicle in large part because of its available 3.0-Liter EcoDiesel V6 engine. Three distinct 4x4 systems give you traction to handle any terrain, weather, or other unexpected road conditions you might come against in Pearland.
Wrangler's standard motivation comes from a 3.6-liter V6 that generates 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. Additionally, Houston drivers can opt for the available turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that produces 270 horsepower and 295.
Launching in December 2020, the all-new Wrangler 4xe challenges everything you know about 4x4s. This innovative plug-in hybrid powertrain combines the available 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with a pair of electric motors and a 27-kWh hybrid battery pack. Generating 375 horsepower and a 470 pound-feet of torque, Wrangler 4xe can tackle the trails and the tarmac, accelerating from zero to 60 mph in just 6 seconds.
The vehicle's suspension and axle articulation enhance the traction whenever you encounter obstacles on the path. Its steering systems and wheelbases allow you to maneuver the vehicle safely in the tightest or rockiest of spots. Electrical, air intake, and moisture-resistant body openings make the vehicle ideal for water fording.
The vehicle is capable of towing up to 2,000 pounds. Inside the vehicle, there's room for up to 31.7 cubic feet of cargo and an attachment to the rear for additional external cargo alongside the utility grid. The maximum passenger volume is 104 cubic feet. And the vehicle is capable of pulling up to 260 pound-feet of torque.
