Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2025 Ram 1500 comes in 10 distinct trim levels, each offering varying features. The Tradesman has a black mesh grille with chrome lettering, while the Tradesman HFE offers a chrome grille surround. The Big Horn adds exclusive badging and equipment, the Warlock features steel-painted wheels, and the Laramie incorporates chrome mirrors. Equipped for serious off-road performance, the Rebel trim adds Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires and exclusive exterior features.
Another strong off-roading contender, the RHO, features Mopar rock rails and off-road fender flares. The Limited trim rolls on Pirelli Scorpion Verde all-season tires and boasts chrome badging and molding, while the Limited Longhorn adds premium painted wheels. The luxury Tungsten model incorporates a redesigned molded front bumper and body-color rear bumpers. Each trim features new lighting elements and wheel designs for 2025, along with an expanded color palette across the lineup.
Engine (Power)
The 2025 Ram 1500's engine lineup starts with the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6, which generates 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque and is standard on Tradesman, Tradesman HFE, and Big Horn trims. The new 3.0-liter Hurricane I-6 engine powers the Warlock, Laramie, and Rebel with 420 horsepower and 469 pound-feet of torque. The High-Output 3.0-liter Hurricane I-6, available in RHO, Limited, Limited Longhorn, and Tungsten trims, delivers an impressive 540 horsepower and 521 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
The Ram 1500 Limited trim with the High-Output Hurricane I-6 engine accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.2 seconds, while the Rebel with the standard Hurricane I-6 achieves the sprint in 4.9 seconds. When properly equipped, the truck can tow up to 11,580 pounds and carry a maximum payload of 2,300 pounds.
Fuel economy varies by engine and drivetrain configuration. The standard 3.6-liter V-6 in two-wheel drive achieves 20/25/22 mpg (city/highway/combined) and with four-wheel drive, 19/24/21 mpg. The 3.0-liter Hurricane engine delivers 18/25/21 mpg in 2WD and 17/24/19 mpg in 4WD configurations. The High-Output Hurricane engine rates at 15/21/17 mpg in 4WD, with RHO trim models returning 14/16/15 mpg.
